Memoir, ca. 1941-2002.

Snyder speaks of his experiences as a Platoon and Company Commander in an Engineer Topographic Battalion. After finishing college and working for the Forest Service as a surveyor, Snyder was called upon to serve in the Army. He was commissioned and he and his unit were shipped to the China, India, Burma Theater of Operations. There they created Topographic maps, surveys, and photographic maps to be used by the Army. He also briefly mentions other aspects of his life that affected him while he was in the service.
